No-start
Car won't start in Baton Rouge? We come to you.
A click, a slow crank or nothing at all. We find out whether it is the battery, the cables, the starter or something else, and fix it where the car sits.
Heat
Louisiana summers kill batteries.
Heat is harder on a car battery than cold. Many batteries in south Louisiana give out after a few summers, often with little warning. A slow crank on a hot morning is the usual first sign.
Click or crank
What the sound tells us.
Rapid clicking usually points to a weak battery or bad connection. One loud click and nothing can be the starter. Cranking but not firing is a fuel, spark or sensor problem — diagnosable on site in many cases.
Before you call a tow
Most no-starts do not need one.
A battery, cable or starter can almost always be replaced in a driveway or parking lot. Call first — it may save you the tow and the shop wait.
