Brakes
Mobile brake repair in Baton Rouge.
Squealing, grinding, a pulsing pedal or a car that pulls when you stop — pads, rotors and calipers replaced in your driveway.
Signs
What your brakes are telling you.
A high squeal often means the pad wear indicator is touching. Grinding means the pad is gone and metal is on metal — stop driving it if you can. A pulsing pedal usually means warped rotors, and pulling to one side can be a sticking caliper.
On site
Flat pavement and an hour or two.
Most pad and rotor jobs take an hour or two per axle on a flat driveway or parking lot. Calipers and brake lines take a bit longer and include bleeding the system.
Don't wait
Grinding gets expensive.
Pads caught early are a simple job. Driving on metal chews up the rotor and can damage the caliper, which turns a pad swap into a much bigger repair.
